• Room Information: We store the room name and a securely hashed version of the room password. The plain-text password is never stored.
• Shared Content: Any text, links, or files ("Content") you paste or upload are temporarily stored on our server to make them accessible to other users in the same password-protected room.
• File Metadata: For uploaded files, we store metadata such as the original filename, file size, and file type to display it correctly in the tool.
• No Personal Tracking: We do not store IP addresses or any other personally identifiable information with the shared content.

How We Use Information

• To Provide the Service: Room names are used to separate content. Hashed passwords are used to control access to rooms. Shared Content is stored temporarily to enable the core functionality of the tool.
• Temporary Storage: All content is automatically deleted from our servers after 24 hours. Users can also manually delete content or clear an entire room at any time.

Data Security

We implement strong security measures. Passwords are cryptographically hashed, making them computationally infeasible for us or anyone else to reverse. Uploaded files are stored with unique, non-guessable filenames to prevent direct access. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Do not share extremely sensitive information through this tool.

Important: Room access is controlled by the password. Only share your room name and password with trusted individuals.

Data Retention

We retain shared content and associated metadata for a maximum of 24 hours, after which it is permanently deleted from our system. We do not keep long-term logs of content or user activity.

Third-Party Services

We do not share your data or shared content with any third-party services, except as necessary to host the Service itself.

Your Choices

• You can delete any item you shared using the delete button associated with the item.
• You can clear all items in a room using the "Clear" button.
• Always use a strong, unique password for your rooms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
